BELOIT - A Mount Prospect, Illinois man who set a goal to run the length of Illinois to honor his late mother completed the quest in Beloit on Monday night.

The long-neglected hotel's owner New Chapter Group, was fined $8,825,500 for 1,657 days of code violations.
