On April 10, the Shreveport Police Department (SPD), in collaboration with several city agencies, took part in Operation ASK BLUE in the Highland neighborhood.

"This is about restoring order, safety, and peace of mind to our neighborhoods," said Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith.

Shreveport police and other city agencies were out in force early Thursday morning to carry out Operation ASK BLUE that targeted illegal squatting.
