The Cleveland Browns unveiled their 2025 jersey numbers for rookies and free agents, and Shedeur Sanders didn't get the familiar number he wore at Jackson State and Colorado. Instead, Sanders will be wearing No. 12 for the Browns -- not No. 2, as that number went to wide receiver DeAndre Carter.

As the Cleveland Browns get ready to open rookie minicamp on Friday, they have unveiled the jersey numbers for Shedeur Sanders, Dillon Gabriel and their 2025 draft class. Sanders will don the No. 12, while Gabriel will wear No. 5.

Deion Sanders assumed his son would be a high first-round pick, and he approached the draft that way. He had Shedeur sit out the Senior Bowl. Shedeur attended, but didn’t throw. He was at the NFL Combine for interviews, but once again didn’t throw.
