Ukraine says a drone attack took out more than one-third of Russia's strategic bombers, hitting five airfields. On Monday, at least six people were injured as Russia launched two ballistic missiles and more drones in Ukraine's northeast.

Though the knock-on effects are unclear, some military commentators have called the strike Russia's "Pearl Harbor." Hopes for direct peace talks, which resume Monday, remain low.
