Yet another iconic New Jersey diner has closed for good. The Red Lion Diner, located at 1753 Route 206 in Southampton Township, announced its abrupt closure in a Facebook post on Sept. 9.

Red Lion's Splash Pad — a popular summer attraction for families — is closing, according to the borough. The borough made the announcement Thursday, April 17, 2025 on its Facebook page.
