Law enforcement officials say two Georgia deputies were shot during a traffic stop and one of them is dead. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the deputy's death around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

A police spokeswoman says the device didn't have a cartridge and no probes were ejected; an official review is pending.
