The Dakota Zoo will host its annual Easter egg hunt from 1 to 3 p.m. March 28. The event is intended for children younger than 12 years of age.

Families came for the Easter egg hunt and a chance to renew acquaintances with the four legged residents at the Zoo. Parents told 22News the Zoo re-opening is the perfect start of spring getaway.

Children 2 and under get in free. To buy tickets, click here. The Easter Egg-citement will take place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Amarillo Zoo, 700 Comanchero Trail.
