Josh Freese announced on Instagram that he has been fired from the Foo Fighters. He joined the group in May 2023 after the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.

"I'm not angry, just a bit shocked and disappointed," said Freese, who replaced the late Taylor Hawkins two years ago.
