The Seattle Seahawks selected Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe with the 92nd pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Friday night, and his selection prompted excitement from Milroe's former head coach and current ESPN college football analyst Nick Saban.

The former Crimson Tide coach, who coached Milroe in three of his four seasons at Alabama and is now covering the NFL draft on ABC, applauded and shook his head. And with tears in his eyes, Saban broke down what the Seahawks were getting.

Nick Saban expressed a deep regret during ABC's NFL Draft telecast on Friday. On Day 2 of the draft, Ohio State Buckeyes running back Quinshon Judkins was drafted by the Cleveland Browns as the 36th overall pick. Speaking about Judkins, Saban stated that he is a big player that Alabama missed out on recruiting.
