One of the suspects charged in last month's brutal attack of an off-duty NYPD officer appeared at Bronx Criminal Court on Thursday.

A second suspect wanted in connection to a violent attack and robbery of an off-duty NYPD officer in the Bronx was taken into custody, according to law enforcement sources.

Officer Chowdhury Nafees returned home from the intensive care unit on the same day police arrested the second suspect in his vicious beating.
