The Jaguars only placed Hunter, the No. 2 overall pick in April's NFL Draft, in offensive drills during rookie minicamp, at least in the sessions open to media. He worked his way into the defensive backfield in OTAs, though, which fell in line with the plan Coen laid out for the first-round pick after his arrival in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Jaguars coach Liam Coen revealed that secondary coach Ron Milus has been impressed by former Colorado Buffaloes star Travis Hunter during OTAs. In jest, Milus pushed for the two-way player to spend more time on the defensive side of the ball.

Despite the reinforced Jaguars’ running back room, coach Liam Coen said the reports of the Jaguars wanting to move on are “ absolutely inaccurate .” In other words, the Jaguars aren’t thinking about moving on from their starting running back from the past three seasons.
