AT least 21 people have died after a bus skidded and fell down a mountainside. Officials said that 14 others were injured during the horror cliff-side plummet near Kotmale, Sri Lanka on Sunday.

A passenger bus has skidded off a cliff in Sri Lanka’s tea-growing hill country, killing 21 people and injuring at least 14 others.

The incident occurred in the early hours, around 140 kilometers east of the capital, Colombo. According to police, the bus veered off a narrow mountain road and fell into a deep ravine in the tea-growing region of central Sri Lanka.
