The Met Office's latest weather radar maps show a large band of rain sweeping in from the Atlantic to leave most of Devon and Cornwall feeling a bit damp.

Snow is forecast to fall across Devon and Cornwall - according to new weather maps. After flooding chaos in the region last week, the weather has settled over the past few days.

The map has been met with some confusion by residents on social media. Superintendent Jo Hall, of Devon and Cornwall Police, said officers had worked with locals to determine the restrictions.

WXCharts has predicted snowfall across Devon and Cornwall and much of the South West on Wednesday (January 17). An interactive map shows that snow may fall between 3am and 9pm that day.
