Refuge staff with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service have issued a temporary closure of a section of Red Rock Creek for public safety.

The Bitterroot Ecosystem has no known resident grizzlies, but wildlife managers have confirmed the presence of bears roaming through the 44,000-square-mile landscape.
