May 9 - With only 90 career walks in 1,842 plate appearances entering this season, Astros shortstop Jeremy Pena seemed an unlikely candidate to find a home atop the Houston batting order.

The shortstop has taken over the leadoff position in the batting order and tops the team in most offensive categories.
