Thomas Bach — the most powerful man in global sports — returned to Guam Thursday for a second visit before his final term as president of the International Olympic Committee comes to an end.

International Olympics Committee boss Thomas Bach has thrown his weight behind the state government’s bold Olympic plan and urged the nation to “stay united” ahead of the historic event.
