Inter Milan has hit its worst run of form at the most critical time, just days before traveling to face FC Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League

While their Serie A form has left much to be desired since their European campaign ended, the Coppa Italia has offered occasional reprieve. A week after the loss to Dinamo, Milan bounced back with an emphatic 3-1 quarterfinal win over AS Roma, led by a brace from ex-England striker Tammy Abraham.

Milan booked a place in the Coppa Italia final, their second final in four months under Sergio Conceicao, with a 2-0 win in the second leg of their semi-final against rivals and Serie A leaders Inter thanks to a brace from the in-form Luka Jovic.
