Eminem has taken home two American Music Awards on a night in which numerous icons have performed, like Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Gloria Estefan and Rod Stewart. The Detroit rapper beat some of the biggest hip-hop artists in the world, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Future, and Tyler, The Creator, to win the AMA for Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist.

Billie Eilish wins artist of the year and song of the year at the American Music Awards, hosted by Jennifer Lopez. Winners also included SZA, Dan+Shay and Rod Stewart, who was presented with a lifetime achievement award by his children.
