A new electric vehicle maker is offering a truck for $20,000. The catch? You'll need an EV credit, and won't get power windows.

Jeff Bezos-backed U.S. EV start-up Slate's new Truck is an electric pickup that converts into a small SUV, and starts under $20,000 with federal tax incentives, according to the company.

The Jeff Bezos–backed startup will offer over 100 accessories at launch, including a flat-pack kit that turns the Slate into a five-seat SUV.
