ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A massive fire engulfed a building in Roseville on Tuesday, causing officials to issue a shelter-in-place.

"We’re planting about 100 giant sequoias in the neighborhood," said Andrew “Birch" Kemp of Arboretum Detroit Co.

Arborists are hoping to transform vacant land on Detroit’s eastside by planting giant sequoias, the world’s largest trees.
