During the event, he was asked about his thoughts on the draft and the fact that both of his sons might get selected. "I am excited about the potential of them going to the [NFL] and where they're going to go," Sanders said on March 19.

Though he claims now that he's happy that Shedeur Sanders was drafted by the Cleveland Browns, video has surfaced showing Deion openly praying for the New York Giants.

Frustration seemed clear after everything that happened, but instead of being upset in the moment, Sanders continued to thank God. According to Fox Sports, Sanders' father had the same message.
