Download codes for Dark Souls are expected to arrive 7-10 days after the Dark Souls III pre-order is purchased. As for the other two platforms, they will not be getting free Dark Souls.

Thank to the Backwards Compatibility team at Xbox, Dark Souls 3 can now take advantage of the FPS Boost feature when loaded on either Xbox Series S or Series X hardware.

Dark Souls 3 is scheduled to launch on Windows PCs, PS4 and Xbox One on April 12th. Gamers in Japan will get their hands on all versions of the game nearly a month earlier on March 24th.
