On Day 2 of the NFL draft, the Cowboys have picks No. 44 and No. 76 overall. Both are pretty high and the Cowboys can potentially get an impact player in each round. The two pressing needs on Day 2 are wide receiver and running back. Dallas hosted numerous running backs at The Star, either as one of their national or Dallas day visits.

Grading a draft a mere hours after after the last pick is generally frowned on by the more hardcore football fan who knows that drafts can’t really be graded until three to four years after the fact.
