Engineers are using cranes to lift the locomotive and cars of an Amtrak passenger train that derailed over a busy highway near Seattle, Washington, killing three and injuring 100.

At around 6:00 a.m., Missouri State Highway Patrol said "the crash involved a tractor trailer and a black passenger car that left the scene," and that the ramp would be shut for at least 4-6 hours.

Tow trucks removed the damaged cars while crews worked to lift the crane. "As busy as this plaza is, we are very lucky that nobody got injured in the event," said Busher.
