Vice President JD Vance told the Washington Examiner that he wants to give the people of East Palestine confidence about the future.
Vance was joined by Gov. Mike DeWine and both of Ohio's U.S. senators, as well as new U.S. EPA Director Lee Zeldin.
Vice President JD Vance was back in his home state of Ohio, on Monday to tour the devastating East Palestine trail derailment. Monday marked two years since the derailment.
Several state and national leaders are expected to survey cleanup efforts and meet with residents in the community.
