Oil markets have had a decidedly bearish start to the week, with Brent and WTI both down due to continuing concerns of oversupply this summer.

Oil prices were stable on Monday as investors weighed up uncertainty over trade talks between the U.S. and China, clouding the outlook for global growth and fuel demand, as well as the prospect of OPEC+ raising supply.

Oil prices extended losses from the previous trading session, weighed down by lingering concerns over global demand in absence of a U.S.-China trade deal and the risk of larger OPEC+ production increases in June.
