A man was shot and killed at a grocery store on Chicago's West Side on Tuesday. Police said the gunman entered the business and shot the victim in the head and body. It was unclear whether the shooting was targeted.

At least one person was killed and several others were wounded in weekend shootings in Chicago, according to police. The ages of the victims range from 20 to 50. In the first shooting of the weekend, a man, 24, was shot during an attempted robbery just before 9 p.m. in the 300 block of South Whipple Street.
