Air Force One is a one of the most popular planes in the world. However, when the budget for two new ones goes over $2 billion, it may raise a few questions.

Boeing forecasts a significant increase in the number of commercial aircraft required by Indian and South Asian operators over the next 20 years, amid sustained economic growth and strong travel demand.

Boeing said on Thursday it expects Indian and South Asian airlines will add 2,835 commercial aircraft to their fleet over the next 20 years, a four-fold increase over current levels, as a rising middle class and healthy economic growth spur travel.

Dubai: Indian and South Asian carriers will add 2,835 commercial jets to their fleet by 2034, a four-fold increase from the current level, American aircraft manufacturer Boeing said in its regional Commercial Market Outlook.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) expects to take delivery of its new Boeing aircraft later than initially forecast, as it works to "enable further capacity growth" in the near-term.
