Twenty-three Alaska veterans took the trip of a lifetime Thursday. They visited the war memorials in Washington constructed in their honor.

American Express members can currently transfer Membership Rewards points to Hawaiian Airlines, and then to Alaska Airlines. But that work-around may end in the not-so-distant future.
