CVS Health plans to exit the individual Obamacare health insurance business next year, leaving 1 million people in 17 states looking for new coverage in 2026.

CVS Health reported $1.8 billion in net income for the first quarter, a 58.5% leap, as revenue increased 7% to $94.6 billion.

CVS Health will not sell its Aetna health plans in the Affordable Care Act’s individual marketplaces in 2026, marking the second time in the past decade that Aetna has given up on ACA coverage.
