A new AP poll reveals that only 18% of Americans consider President Donald Trump's performance so far this term to be "great," while a Fox poll shows that just 44% of voters approve of his actions during his first 100 days back in office.

Presidential job approval ratings are one of the few metrics consistently and similarly measured in nearly all major public polls. An average of recent polls can often paint a more reliable picture of how the public views the president than a single poll can.

Trump attacked ABC News, The New York Times and Fox News for their recent polls showing his approval rating at a net negative, calling the pollsters “negative criminals,” he wrote April 28 on Truth Social, declaring they “should be investigated for ELECTION FRAUD.”
