Mark Totten, a former west Michigan federal prosecutor, has announced his campaign for Michigan Attorney General in 2026. Totten, a Kalamazoo resident, is the first major candidate to join the race.

Mark Totten, of Kalamazoo, is the first major party candidate to announce his bid for attorney general in 2026. He wants to succeed Attorney General Dana Nessel, a Democrat who is term-limited.
