ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — A 6-year-old girl who lost everything in a tornado that devastated a Perquimans County community got something back Sunday during a second birthday party held for her.

A 6-year-old girl, Leilani, who just recently celebrated a birthday, lost all of her toys after a tornado touched down in Perquimans County earlier this week and destroyed her family’s home.
