Israel's army is flattening the remaining ruins of the city of Rafah on the southern edge of the Gaza Strip, residents say, in what they fear is a part of a plan to herd the population into confinement in a giant camp on the barren ground.

Despite a cease-fire between Hezbollah and Israel, the IDF targeted Beirut, Lebanon, with airstrikes Sunday while also killing at least dozens of Palestinians with strikes in Gaza as the war continues.

More than 50 people were killed in 24 hours, the Gaza Health Ministry said. Israeli jets also hit Beirut's southern suburbs for the third time since a ceasefire.
