Canada trade talks are resuming Canada rescinded its plan to tax U.S. technology firms, a plan President Trump blasted.

President Donald Trump said he was ending all trade discussions with Canada in retaliation for the country’s digital services tax and threatened to impose a fresh tariff rate within the next week.

The government said on Sunday night that it would cancel its tax on American technology companies, handing a victory to the Trump administration.
