Subaru has gone from one to three electric vehicles in a hurry — unveiling its third, a subcompact SUV with an off-roader’s spirit and a Toyota twin.

The new compact crossover has over 300 miles of range and 338 horsepower, and it will likely be very popular among people who wear Tevas and own dogs.

The small Uncharted SUV is visually and mechanically similar to the upcoming 2026 Toyota CH-R, which also goes on sale next year. Toyota and Subaru share development and production of many of their EVs.
