On Sunday, May 4, former Ohio State Buckeyes offensive tackle Josh Simmons officially signed his rookie contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, who selected him with the No. 32 pick in Round 1 of the 2025 NFL draft last month.

The Kansas City Chiefs and former Ohio State offensive tackle Josh Simmons have agreed to a four-year, fully guaranteed $14.7 million deal, agents Drew Rosenhaus, Robert Bailey and Oliver Chell told ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Simmons was selected by the Chiefs with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Following closely in the steps of the Cowboys and offensive guard Tyler Booker, the Chiefs have come to terms with Ohio State offensive tackle Josh Simmons on his first-round rookie contract.
