The first-ever drone show in San Jose was held at Lake Cunningham instead of the annual fireworks display. The drone show was put together at the minute after several cities learned their supply of fireworks were destroyed in the massive warehouse fire in Yolo County.

The explosion at the fireworks warehouse in Yolo County caused the cancelation of a number of 4th of July fireworks shows, including one in San Jose.

While some Fourth of July celebrations have been canceled, numerous cities and venues throughout Santa Clara County are going all out with festivities and fireworks. There are eight light shows across the county ready to dazzle residents.
