No starters, no problem. The Los Angeles Rams leaned on their backups in Saturday's preseason opener, beating the Dallas Cowboys – who also rested their starters – by a score of 31-21 at home. Though the Rams only won by 10 points, they had a comfortable lead for most of the game, with their largest cushion being 24-6 early in the fourth quarter.

After a few weeks of preparation in Oxnard, Brian Schottenheimer and the Cowboys are looking to pass a key test.

The Rams rushed for 181 yards in their 10-point win over the Cowboys, starting the preseason off on the right foot.
