Houston will still have some rain, but the weather will be less severe than earlier this week. We expect to see much of the rain activity by the late afternoon, but as we turn toward the night, things look quiet.

The weather rollercoaster continues across central Maryland as we move into the weekend and beyond, with a mix of sunshine, showers, and a notable warmup on the horizon. Late-day showers may develop Friday as a weak disturbance moves through the region.

The storms are moving to the east at 30 mph and are expected to arrive in North Texas in the late morning and early afternoon hours. Threats include marble-sized hail, gusty winds and heavy rain. The heavy rain in some areas will lead to additional flooding concerns as the storms keep moving across North Texas.
