Astronomer Interim CEO Pete DeJoy addressed the infamous Coldplay “Kiss Cam” scandal that prompted former CEO Andy Byron to resign.
Pete DeJoy, the company’s cofounder, is taking over for former CEO Andy Byron as Astronomer looks into his alleged affair that was revealed by the Jumbotron at a Coldplay concert Wednesday night. DeJoy previously served as Astronomer’s Chief Product Officer, the company said.
DeJoy has been with Astronomer for over eight years, serving as vice president of product and later becoming chief product officer in February 2025.
