PHILADELPHIA – Luis Garcia Jr. singled, doubled and drove in a run, Brad Lord pitched into the sixth inning and the Washington Nationals avoided a three-game sweep with a 4-2 victory over the Phillies on Thursday night at Citizens Bank Park.
