A federal judge has warned the Trump administration -- amid reports it plans to deport migrants to Libya -- that doing so would violate court orders prohibiting the government from shipping deportees to a third country.

U.S. authorities have informed some migrants of plans to deport them to Libya, a country they are not from and that has a history of human rights violations.

The Trump administration is moving forward with plans to transport a group of undocumented immigrants to Libya on a US military plane, an administration official told CNN.
