British police on Monday were investigating an overnight fire at the London house where Prime Minister Keir Starmer lived before he was elected to lead the country. Since taking office in July, Starmer has lived in the prime minister’s official Downing Street residence,

The entrance to Sir Keir Starmer's house was damaged in the fire. Nobody was hurt and a police cordon remains in place.

Damage was caused to the entrance of a property belonging to the prime minister in Kentish Town, but nobody was hurt, the police said.
