Rumours have been absolutely doing the rounds in recent months regarding Barack and Michelle Obama’s marriage. It all seemed to ramp up earlier this year when the former first lady did not attend Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Michelle Obama said she had to “basically trick” herself into skipping the inauguration by making sure she would have nothing to wear to the ceremony, USA Today reported.

Her decision to skip out on Trump came shortly after Barack Obama also attended the funeral of former president Jimmy Carter solo. The Obamas had already been the subject of an evidence-less social media rumor that suggested they were destined for divorce.
