Electing to bat, Bangladesh slumped to 35-5 but went on to post 228 all out riding Towhid Hridoy's heroic 100 while battling cramps.

Shubman Gill smashed an unbeaten 101 as India defeated Bangladesh by six wickets in their ICC Champions Trophy opener in Dubai. Earlier, Mohammed Shami’s 5/53 helped India bowl out Bangladesh for 228.
