Arsenal are believed to have finally secured a full agreement with Sporting CP over the transfer of prolific striker Viktor Gyökeres after belatedly settling on suitable add-ons.

Add to that the renewed contracts of Gabriel Magalhaes, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri, plus the fact that Cristhian Mosquera is already reportedly out in Singapore, and it's easy to see why some fans are getting very excited.

Gyokeres was focused only on joining Arsenal and, despite late interest from elsewhere, he did not consider any other team.

Mikel Arteta was asked about Gyokeres after Arsenal’s friendly encounter with AC Milan in Singapore, and he provided an immediate response. Arteta’s press conference was featured on Hayters TV, and a reporter asked him: “Will Singapore fans expect to see a certain Viktor Gyokeres in the next game?”
