An odd night down at Progressive Field ended the best possible way: a walk-off win for the Cleveland Guardians. The winning swing came from Kyle Manzardo in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Guardians a 2-1 win over their division rival Minnesota Twins.

Manager Stephen Vogt praised Tuesday’s defensive effort noting strong plays including a relay thrown from Steven Kwan to Gabriel Arias to Carlos Santana that resulted in an out on the bases in the seventh when Ty France singled to left and was thrown out as he rounded first too aggressively.
