The Denver Broncos landed veteran tight end Evan Engram in free agency this offseason. Engram drew interest from Denver and the Los Angeles Chargers but ultimately signed a two-year deal with the Broncos based on his meeting with head coach Sean Payton.

Tight end Evan Engram heard from a pair of AFC West teams after he was released by the Jaguars, but the Broncos were able to beat out the Chargers when it came to signing the veteran as a free agent.

The Denver Broncos' primary raison d'etre of this year's NFL draft could well be in pursuit of more offensive weapons. Tight ends, Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland are both considered to be prime targets for the Broncos at pick #20 come next Thursday's draft-day opener.
