Meteorologists with the National Weather Service of Indianapolis say multiple tornadoes likely hit southern-central Indiana on Friday causing significant damage, including one confirmed EF2 tornado in Monroe County.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ky. — Multiple people are injured and storm damage was reported after a "possible tornado" hit Washington County, Kentucky Friday morning. In a social media post, Washington County Sheriff's Office said there is "severe damage" and "multiple injuries" throughout the county.

Two tornadoes that tore across parts of Adams, Arapahoe and Elbert counties on Sunday, leaving dozens of destroyed or damaged buildings in their wake, were rated EF2, National Weather Service meteorologists said Tuesday. The ratings of two other confirmed tornadoes on the Eastern Plains remain unknown, NWS meteorologist David Barjenbruch said.
